1. Generally speaking, animals are afraid of gunshots.

2. Some animals are incrediby  camera shy

3. Generally speaking, animals don't really like flashes. Something about the bright lights and the weird "ch-ckkk" sound they make....

4. It's also really hard to get a model release signed...lawyers generally need to be present and it tends to get out of hand

and

5. Sometimes they can be real beasts!

That's why I tend to shoot people...
